Enger Muteteke Bio:

Rev. Enger Muteteke is a writer, speaker, minister, and anti-racism trainer rooted in the Wesleyan tradition. She serves as the Senior Director of Programs and Education at the General Commission on Religion and Race of The United Methodist Church, where she leads transformative initiatives that equip churches to live into God’s vision of equity, inclusion, and beloved community. Through her consulting and curriculum platform, DIEALOGUES, Rev. Muteteke has trained hundreds of faith leaders to cultivate anti-racist communities with authenticity, accountability, and Spirit-led courage. Her work weaves together deep theology, lived experience, and a profound love for the Church.

With over 20 years of experience in cross-racial and cross-cultural ministry, Rev. Muteteke is a trusted facilitator, story circle guide, and workshop leader—frequently engaging congregations and communities on topics like social justice, intercultural competency, and listening as spiritual practice. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from The College of William & Mary, a Master of Theological Studies from Wesley Theological Seminary, and a Master’s in Social Responsibility and Sustainable Communities from Western Kentucky University.

For Rev. Muteteke, justice begins with one sacred act: listening—to God, to one another, and to the stories that shape us all.
