Capital Pride Parade

Capital Pride Parade in Washington, DC. will be on Saturday June 20, 2026. The UMC contingent usually gathers about 2pm. 

Dumbarton UMC will participate again in this important witness for LGBTQIA+ inclusion. We have made a donation that allows up to 10 folks to receive special 2026 Pride T-shirts.

Ways to participate this year -

• Walk with or ride on the float with the UMC contingent in the parade (children are welcomed to walk this year!) Float riding space is limited to those with mobility issues.

• Watch the parade with other United Methodists on the steps of National City Christian Church at #5 Thomas Circle (14th & Mass. Ave. NW).
