Supporting Missionaries Around the World
Nicaragua. Dumbarton supports the work of Nan McCurdy and Miguel Mairena, two missionaries working with the Women and Community Association in Nicaragua.
The association facilitates community-based health, development, education, economic initiatives and human rights with women, youth and children. Three groups of Dumbarton youth and adults have spent a week with Nan and Miguel in Nicaragua to help with the program. The missionaries frequently return to visit Dumbarton, where they have many friends.
Here is the link for a video about the organization they work with in Nicaragua and about them.
