Dumbarton's West River Weekend Coming Soon...
Now that the season of Lent has passed and Easter Sunday is but a memory, it means spring is here and the annual West River Weekend is coming soon! Be a part of one of our church's major events--a weekend away--with fun and worship at West River Retreat Center, just an hour from D.C. near Deale, Md -- Friday May 30 through Sunday June 1.
We start with a campfire, complete with camp songs and marshmallow roasting, on Friday night. On Saturday, there are programs for adults, youth, and children, followed by free time at the pool, on boats or just relaxing. Enjoy the so-called variety show and one of Mike's movies on Saturday night. Sunday morning, we'll have an outdoor worship service beside the scenic river. Aside from the serious moments, the weekend is great fun for new folks, old-timers, visitors, young and old alike. Registration forms and program details coming soon! [Registration deadline is May 15th.]
