Dumbarton UMC Pastor Rev. Rachel Cornwell, author of Daring Adventures: Helping Gender-Diverse Kids and Their Families Thrive, will be participating in a book discussion at Busboys and Poets (450 K Street NW, Washington, DC 20001) at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, with Dr. Matt Salmon, author of Pride and Prejudice: Healing Division in the Modern Family. Rev. Cornwell and Dr. Salmon will discuss the importance of creating inclusive and affirming families and congregations for LGBTQ+ Youth.
